We discuss the brand and his recent milestone, the nuances of technology and social media and how it affects the current generation and the next generation coming up.

The streets of New York can be unpredictable, yet beautiful at the same time. They house many characters, from the ones who make you do a double take, to the ones who catch your attention and surprise you in a brilliant way. These individuals caught my eyes, which is why I decided to add them to my series and capture their stories.

Staying active is something that everyone from New York can relate to, but for the following women, they bring that definition to the next level by resorting to dance, or yoga, to channel their skills. Movement is a form of art, so sit back and hear their powerful stories that transcend their moves.

Jokingly, of course, but that’s only because I gotten to know some amazing photographers throughout the past few years, especially because of Minute Made. These individuals have work that prove they have great eyes and the subjects that they shoot are fortunate enough to be captured by them.

I attended SUNY New Paltz in upstate New York where I met one person who became a mentor to me, as well as an amazing individual who work with being a doula helps other mothers bring life into the world.

This week's episode introduces you to the voices affiliated with Children of Promise NYC, an organization who caters to children whose parents are incarcerated by helping to empower them through programs and other initiatives. These volunteers and staff members of CPNYC share their stories of why they decide to be a part of this organization and how important their work is for the kids that they serve. I had the honor to capture their stories and learn more about why they are involved with this great cause.

On this week's episode, we hear a conversation with Aaron P. Watson, a host, actor, dancer and all around man of many talents, who shares his experience coming to the city from Baltimore, Maryland, his family, thoughts on the African American diaspora and his experience with his love for New York.

On this week's episode, we continue highlighting entrepreneurs who have started their own brands, created their own products, or have provided a service that gives back. These following gentlemen have worked hard to build their businesses or endeavors and they don’t aim to stop any time soon.

This week's episode is a chat with Rachel Hurst, aka "Yazmin Soul," a singer/songwriter who shares the challenges of building a music career, her musical influences (including her father, who was a former member of the MoTown group, The Drifters), the state of music now and ultimately what it means to her as she finds her sound.

This week's episode is all about the hustle; waking up everyday and going out to get it. Our motivations drive us to pursue our hobbies and turn them into passions, which lead to us starting our own businesses, which can hopefully lead to us making some money on the side. These following ladies have defined what it means to be about their business as they share why they decided to make their work work for them.

This week's episode is a talk with world-renowned jazz musician Ronnie Burrage. We discuss his musical background, the different cultural and educational programs he is involved with, as well as the importance of bridging the gap between generations in the community.

This place has become a second home to me and where Minute Made NY was born. These amazing people I had the honor of working alongside represent what it means to be a creative.

On the week's episode, I share a conversation with Kennedy Ross, stand-up comedian and author of his entitled book "He Said It, I Didn't: A Biblical Book Report - Brooklyn Style." We get into an interesting discussion about his take on The Bible, why he decided to write the book, and his take on Christianity and those he has crossed along the way during his journey into understanding the Good Book.

To continue highlighting more people in the music space, I present the stories from artists and members of the hip-hop realm. From a world-renowned DJ to a rapper making waves for women and her neighborhood, I had the chance to sit down with these people and get to know more about who they are and their motivations in making and playing music for others to hear.

This week's episode is a conversation with Brandice Taylor-Davis, a mother, clothing designer and fashion enthusiast who shares her clothing line, how it got started and her future endeavors and how she gives back to young people interested in fabrics and design.

Everyone has a connection to music, in their own way. Whether it’s one of their favorite songs to get them through a rough time, or a tune that gets them in the right headspace to feel free. These music artists that I’ve had the honor of profiling create music, not just for their audience, but for the opportunity to express themselves the way they are, from the jazz musician who has rocked subway to onstage platforms, to a record label artist who has been in the industry for years, creating music to this day.

This week's episode is a talk with Jacqueline Paige, an outspoken model and actress who talks about her travels, her thoughts on community, self and her love/hate relationship with "New" New York.
EPISODE 5 - The art of motivation (pt. 2)
To continue the artist’s profiles, I present some more amazing artists who I’ve gotten to know throughout the years. These ladies use their art to inspire, encourage and grow for themselves and those who viewed their pieces. From one artist who has overcome her physical challenges to succeed to a painter who relies on her faith and activism to tell her truth, they have certainly made names for themselves, even to this day.

This week's episode is a conversation with Kennedy Yanko, a visual artist residing in Brooklyn, NY, who's specializes in combining metalwork and paint skins in fascinating pieces. She shares her beginnings in art, moving to New York, her motivations as well as her work flow.

This week's episode focuses on some of the amazing artists that have been profiled for Minute Made NY. These gentlemen range from a multi-faceted creative that uses art as one of many outlets to a more seasoned artist who uses recycled materials to make a statement through their pieces.

On this week’s episode, you’ll hear a conversation with Edafe Okporo, a refugee from Nigeria who migrated to the United States in 2016 to seek shelter from his homeland and has made a life for himself as the director of RDJ Refugee Shelter, an author of his own book, “Bed 26,” an activist for refugee rights and the host of his own podcast “The Pont Podcast.” Edafe shares his work, his views on American perspective vs foreign perspective of being a refugee and his message of peace, love, inclusion and diversity.
