Minute Made New York is a profile series dedicated to highlighting individuals on what drives and motivates them to keep going in their daily lives, as well as their personal stories, in one minute.

“Video” Vixon J. is a videographer/producer based out of Brooklyn, NY. In an effort to broaden his creative portfolio, Vixon created MMNY to help expand the platform of capturing the human experience through storytelling in video form.

In 2015, MMNY became one of the the finalists in the first annual MegaCities ShortDocs competition, under the title,
“Minutes of New York,” granting him the opportunity to travel to Paris for the first time
and screen his work in front of an international audience.

His hopes are that, similar to HONY (Humans of New York), people will be willing to share their stories and what’s most important to them, as he profiles these individuals in a “New York minute.”
